Fiji Sun, 01 October 2018 – A similar careers fair will be hosted for the students based in the Solomon Islands in November.
Graduating students looking to enter the tourism industry got a chance to meet their potential employers at 2018’s University of the South Pacific (USP) careers fair hosted at the Westin Denarau Island Resort and Spa on Friday.
In its twelfth year, the event was organised by USP’s school of tourism and hospitality management in conjunction with industry stakeholders.
Senior lecturer in tourism and hospitality Dawn Gibson said: “The event is an opportunity for a graduating students to talk directly with those from the employers to gain on potential career paths and opportunities within the sector or organisation. Read more…
