Fiji Times Thursday 07 September 2017 A STRONG demand from traditional and emerging markets combined with sustained marketing resulted in 90,000 visitor arrivals in July this year.
And Tourism Fiji says this has been the highest monthly arrivals figure for the country so far.
Tourism Fiji said apart from strong market-driven growth, sustained marketing and promotional activities across traditional and emerging markets by Tourism Fiji had contributed to the 90,000 arrivals into the country.
Tourism Fiji said declines in visitor arrivals from China, Canada and Japan were a result of monthly figure fluctuations.
“Suggest more appropriate to consider longer-term trends to identify performance for each of the market,” Tourism Fiji said in a statement. Read more…
