Fiji Times Saturday 30 September 2017 CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort celebrated its 10th anniversary on Thursday.
Resort general manager Francis Lee said he was proud of how far the spa had come in a decade and he acknowledged the sacrifice, commitment and determination of Chi Spa manager Nirmala Naidu and her dedicated team of therapists and support staff.
Ms Naidu said having a team of enthusiastic young professionals made her job all the more satisfying.
“We have all the ingredients that contribute to success — great support from the Shangri-La’s Fijian management, a beautiful location and 26 amazing staff of whom 17 are qualified therapists,” she said.
Ms Naidu has been a key driver behind the success of Chi Spa having been there since the day the treatment facility was first established.
When asked what made the spa different from all the others, she said it was the layout of the facility and the types of treatment on offer.
