Media Release, 29 December 2017 – As the new year dances around the corner, the Radisson Blu Resort Fiji are psyched and geared to make the countdown to 2018 a memorable one for guests and all those who are interested in welcoming the new year in style.
With the success of the Resorts Christmas Day celebrations having Santa arrive Fijian flair on a Banana Boat with the elves, providing a unique and memorable photo opportunity for the entire family. The Radisson Blu team are confident the special events planned for New Year’s Eve will welcome 2018 in a tru blu and spectacular fashion.
Following on from the success of last year’s Big Bula Beach Party, the Radisson Blu Resort hopes to attract around 500 guests in attendance again. This year the Resorts NYE Blu Bula Beach party is going to be bigger and better looking at both in house and neighbouring guests including local residents. All are welcome to attend the trendiest New Year’s Eve party on Denarau Island having partnered with Titos Vodka to have two exclusive Titos Vodka Bars.
The event will also showcase a Mexican Cantina Corona Bar and a Fiji Coconut Vodka Bar with carnival style cuisine entailing live cooking international food stalls featuring New Orleans Slider Station, Panchos Mexican Canteen, Jasmine’s Thai, Istanbul Marketplace and Little India.
Guests can delight in the various carnival style food stalls from 6pm to midnight at the beachside which is a point of difference rather than confined buffet style of dining, full theming set up, firework display at midnight and a Live DJ and band by the poolside.
The Resorts Blu Banana Kids Club Team will entertain the kids to an evening of fun games, laughter and lots of dancing from 6 pm to 12 am which allows the parents to enjoy themselves too.
For the food lovers there is also a progressive 4 course ‘Feed Me’ menu and ‘A la carte’ menu prepared by the resorts speciality Thai Chantara Restaurant, the recognised No. 1 Restaurant on Denarau Island by Trip Advisor. (Valium)
