The Fiji Times, 16 February – THE tourism industry grew in 2016 in terms of revenue and growth, says Tourism Fiji CEO Matthew Stoeckel.
“If we reflect on 2016, it was a fantastic year,” he said. “We saw the tourism industry grow further and set new records. This is despite a few hurdles that we had at the start of the year such as Severe Tropical Cyclone Winston and a number of flooding events as well,” said Mr Stoeckel.
