Fiji Sun, Sat 27 Jan – The PM states “Everyone in my Cabinet advises me and the Attorney-General advises me when it comes to legal matters.” The PM also condemned attacks against Muslims on social media and that A-G was the second highest authority in any Government.
Methodist Church president Reverend Epineri Vakadewavosa said the Methodists agreed with Mr Bainimarama and condemned attacks against any religion. “We do not appreciate such behaviour against our Muslim brothers and sisters,” Reverend Vakadewavosa said. “The Methodist Church has always respected other religions, their rights and their freedom to worship.“We live in a multi-racial and multi-cultural community.
