THE South Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) and Deutsche Gelleschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on strengthening tourism in the Pacific region.
SPTO board chairperson Papalii Matatamalii Sonja Hunter said through this partnership SPTO would seek out opportunities to organise workshops and seminars in collaboration with GIZ.
“This is to enable us to provide our tourism stakeholders with an understanding of best practices in renewable energy solutions and energy efficiency,” she said. Read more…
