MORE awareness needs to be created about Master Class Fiji, says event co-ordinator Valentin Corchado.
The weeklong event is one where the best chefs and hospitality professionals in Fiji work hand in hand to support and promote the industry.
This year’s event organisers sought to promote equality and gender balance in the kitchen.
They also introduced culinary scholarships for high potential Fijian female chefs.
Mr Valentin said their first Master Class event held from May 29-June 1 was a success and their motive was to get more people around the country knowledgeable of the event and the opportunities made available to them. Read more…
