Marriott Fiji Resorts Win at HM Awards

Fiji, 3 December, 2024: Marriott International Fiji Resorts received great recognition at the inaugural HM Awards Aotearoa-Pacific Awards that took place at a gala ceremony at the Cordis Auckland on 1st November, scoring 13 out of 29 prestigious awards in NZ.

Fijian owned property, Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay won the Fijian Upscale Resort in the Property Awards – Fiji & South Pacific and 8 out of the 12 Associates won in various categories ranging from Concierge, Culinary, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping,  Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Finance and Revenue Management whilst the rest were highly commended.

The Marriott International Fiji Resorts received additional recognition at the recent 2024 HM Awards Australasia that took place at the Grand Ballroom ICC Sydney on Friday 29th November. In the major awards category, Silvano Dressino, General Manager at Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay was awarded Fiji General Manager of the Year. The Resort was also highly commended in the Fijian Hotel of the Year. Additionally, the Marriott International Fiji Resorts were also highly commended in the Service to the Community category.

Now in their 21st year, The HM Awards are the leading industry awards in the region and celebrate the best properties, departments, people, chains and brands in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

The Westin Denarau Island Resort and Spa is currently under refurbishment due to open in 2025.
