CANBERRA AIRPORT
Canberra Airport, managed by Capital Airport Group, aspires to be the world’s best
small airport, showcasing its growth from a modest facility to a vibrant precinct

EPC SOLAR
EPC Solar, a leading provider of commercial rooftop solar and battery systems, is
showcasing its innovative energy solutions at HOTEC 2024. As a majority Indigenous
owned business, EPC Solar focuses on supporting the region’s sustainable future
through end-to-end project management, including solar farms and microgrids. In
partnership with IES, the company offers power purchase agreements (PPAs),
financing, maintaining, and monitoring solar systems without upfront costs, ensuring
customers receive affordable electricity at pre-agreed rates while fostering cleaner
environments and stronger communities across the region.

IES
Intelligent Energy Solutions (IES), based in Canberra, specializes in developing
renewable energy generation and storage infrastructure without upfront costs for
clients. Over the past decade, IES has installed behind-the-meter solar PV and battery
systems for various commercial properties across Australia, including offices,
churches, and childcare centers. The company’s Solar Power Purchase Agreement
(SPPA) has proven popular with foreign embassies, such as those of Spain, Mexico,
and Brazil. IES’s expertise spans from residential to complex commercial projects,

to sustainability, IES continues to lead the renewable energy sector with confidence

LARK HILL WINERY
At HOTEC 2024, Lark Hill, a family-owned estate founded in 1978 by Sue and Dave
Carpenter, showcases its commitment to organic, biodynamic, and sustainable
winemaking in the Canberra District. Under the direction of second-generation
winemaker Chris Carpenter, Lark Hill uses minimal intervention techniques to produce
premium estate and single-vineyard wines that reflect the region’s unique terroir. The
estate’s regional blends further highlight local diversity. Consistently awarded a 5-star
rating in the Halliday Wine Companion, Lark Hill ranks among Australia’s Top 100
Wineries, emphasizing its dedication to quality and sustainability.

COLLECTOR WINES
Collector Wines, a boutique winery in the Canberra District, has earned acclaim for its
exceptional premium wines. Located in Collector, New South Wales, the winery boasts
a 5 red star rating from Halliday, recognition as a Halliday Top 100 Winery, and a
position among Real Review’s Top Wineries of Australia. Collector Wines is celebrated
for its commitment to regional expression and varietal definition, sourcing grapes from
local vineyards. Attendees at HOTEC 2024 can experience these fine wines at their
charming cellar door, just outside Canberra, where the essence of the region is
beautifully captured in every bottle.

FOOD RECYCLE
At HOTEC 2024, Food Recycle, an innovative Australian technology start-up from New
South Wales, showcases its groundbreaking approach to tackling food waste. Using
patented technology, the company converts commercial food waste into high
performance animal feeds, diverting waste from landfills while preserving nutritional
value. With a strong focus on research and development, Food Recycle collaborates
with leading scientists to refine its processes, which are already implemented across
Australia and New Zealand. The company is now exploring licensing opportunities to
expand its environmentally sustainable and economically viable solution to
international markets.

ONA COFFEE
ONA Coffee, one of Australia’s leading specialty roasters, is passionate about creating
the best and most sustainable coffee. Founded in 2008 by former Olympic handball
player Saša Šestić, the company is grounded in community, innovation, and
excellence. Headquartered in Canberra, ONA sources specialty green coffee beans
from 18 origins and empowers farmers through its ethical trading initiative, Project
Origin. With five venues in Canberra, Sydney, and Melbourne, ONA Coffee is excited
to showcase its commitment to exceptional coffee and sustainability at HOTEC 2024
