Fiji Times Tuesday 13 June 2017 SIGNIFICANT changes had to be made to the work culture and management at Suva’s Grand Pacific Hotel over the past two years, a Parliamentary Standing Committee heard yesterday.
The iconic hotel’s general manager Peter Gee said there were a lot of strategies put in place to change the culture of fear and intimidation among GPH staff members during the previous management of the hotel.
“It was very apparent that we didn’t have a happy hotel and that it was very badly managed,” Mr Gee told the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Economic Affairs while presenting on a petition on abuse of workers at GPH. Read more…
