Fiji Sun Thursday 30 March 2017 Tourism Fiji chief executive officer, Matthew Stoeckel says all its marketing and promotional activities are continuing to get great traction in the market.
And that is why the tourism industry was optimistic for a great year ahead, he said.
This was further evidently explained in the Statistical News from the Fiji Bureau of Statistics, Government statistician, Epeli Waqavonovono.
Provisional visitor arrivals for the month of January this year was at 64,943 according to the statistics.
The Bureau stated it was a record for the month of January and represented an increase of 12.5 per cent compared to the year earlier. Read more…
