Fiji’s Prime Minister urges nation to remain on high alert ahead of severe weather

The Fiji Times, 06 April 2018 – FIJI’S Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has issued a national statement within the hour urging every Fijian to remain on high alert and adhere to the advice of authorities as the whole country prepares for more severe weather over the next few days.

The PM noted the weather projections that indicated a new cyclone forming to the West of Fiji, and it posed yet another serious threat to the lives of the people and the health of the Fijian economy. Read more…
