ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards (FETA) is pleased to announce registration is now open for the 2024 awards. Register your company name for the appropriate award category(s) via the portal for further submission of applications. Businesses have two weeks to complete this simple process.
In response to industry feedback FETA is also pleased to announce the following updates to the awards categories:
Category 21 (new category) ‘Specialised Tourism Services’, existing category Category 14 ‘Specialised Tour Services’ has been renamed ‘Experiences and Attractions’ and will now present two awards. Categories 7 – 10 now include all marine-based accommodation operators.
Please refer to the attached award category descriptions to ensure the appropriate category is selected. As a result, this season there will be an additional two awards this season and any changes to category titles or numbers will not affect previous award winners for Hall of Fame eligibility.
FETA Chair, Sadranu said that these category amendments were carefully considered by the board of trustees and ensure the awards continue to reflect the evolving landscape of Fiji’s tourism. The FETA board recognize the diverse nature of experiences and attractions within the industry.
Entries will be independently assessed by leaders and experts in the field. FETA acknowledges long-term sponsor Tappoo, now a Platinum level sponsor, to elevate the success of the event.
FETA announces the following dates for the season:
• Monday 6th July – Register Entry to the Awards
• Saturday 20th July – Registration Closes
• Monday 22nd July – Application Entries Open
• Saturday 5th October – Applications Close
