Fiji Times Thursday 03 August 2017 MUSKET Cove Island Resort and Marina is once again preparing for Fiji’s largest sailing competition that is expected to attract more than 100 sailors from across the globe.
The Musket Cove Fiji Regatta will mark its 34th year with another week-long event at the resort on Malolo Lailai.
Beginning on September 15, the Regatta will involve sailors from Australia, New Zealand and the US.
“Among the many highlights during the week are the fancy dress Pirates’ Day set on nearby Beachcomber Island, the Musket Olympics, off-the-beach HobieCat racing, plus post-race parties and beach barbecues at the Musket Cove Yacht Club’s Island Bar,” the organisers of the event stated.
“For the sailors, the signature event on the water is the 20 nautical mile Round Malolo Lailai Race which starts and finishes adjacent to Musket Cove Resort. Read more…
