FBC News Wednesday 18 October 2017 The South Pacific Stock Exchange has seen an increase in new investor over the month of September.
Exchange, Manager Operations, Pretesh Prasad says eight investor entered the market, bringing the total to one hundred and fourteen new investors for the year.
“If you look at the age range of investors who actually investing in our stock market, this is usually the age range of above twenty six to thirty five which takes the lead.”
Prasad says the traders in the work force are now considering the market as an investment tool.
He adds the new investors accounted for 27.57 percent of year to date trades.
