The Fiji Times, 13 July 2017 – TAXES levied on the tourism industry are pricing Fiji out of reach of international travellers, says National Federation Party leader Professor Biman Prasad.
While delivering his 2017-2018 National Budget response in Parliament early this week, Prof Biman said the total taxes tourism actors had to levy on goods and services was making Fiji uncompetitive.
He also claimed this was one of the contributing factors to Fiji not being able to realise targets set for revenue from the tourism sector. Read more…
