Dive Operators Subcommittee (DiveComm)

The FHTA Dive Operators Subcommittee (DiveComm) raises awareness and updates on dive issues and safety concerns with relevant stakeholders, carries out dive checks and provides endorsement letters for “Members” applying for expat dive instructors or dive site managers, updates industry on the Hyperbaric Chamber and regularly updates the Fiji Dive Emergency Notes (click to view current Notes).

The FHTA DiveComm also organises Fiji’s only annual in-country dive marketing event, the FHTA Dive Fiji EXPO and Bula Dive FAM, in collaboration with Fiji Airways and Tourism Fiji. The Dive FAM and EXPO is an event that creates an opportunity for the Fiji Dive Tourism industry to showcase itself and products to invited international Buyers/dive agents.
