Fiji Times Tuesday 23 May 2017 THE World Bank has recently signed a lease with the Fiji National Provident Fund to set up their regional office at the My FNPF Center in Suva.
This was confirmed by the bank’s resident representative in the South Pacific Lasse Melgaard who said their engagement in Fiji would act as their regional hub.
The newly-established regional office will take over operations co-ordinated from the World Bank’s Sydney, Australia office.
This will be headed by Mr Melgaard overseeing the bank’s work in the Pacific region.
In an earlier interview, Mr Melgaard said they would remain at their liaison office situated at the Ra Marama Building in Suva until the end of this year. Read more…
