South Pacific Tourism Organisation – Quarterly Tourist Arrivals Report – 20th Feb , 2019

The Research and Statistics Division of The South Pacific Tourism Tourism (SPTO) has published it’s Third Quarter 2018 Review on Tourist Arrivals for SPTO member countries (including Palau).
In its endeavor to provide quality, user friendly and concise statistical information, the SPTO is moving to infographics from this edition onwards. The graphic visual representation of data, charts and statistics are intended to present tourism information more quickly and clearly. The infographics will also be easily read, understood, remembered and more compelling for tourism stakeholders.
Additionally, a two page infographics summary for general viewing provides link to the Quarterly Review and an excel database on consolidated historical data on Pacific visitor arrivals backdated to 2006. The focus of the excel database is to meet the increasing demand for historical and updated visitor arrival information from stakeholders, researchers, international, regional and national organisations.

The infographics present figures and comparisons of global and Pacific visitor arrivals, origin of visitors to the Pacific, their reason for travel and which countries had the most visitors. This new feature accompanies the full quarterly report and all available for download on the SPTO’s RTRC. Please note that the report and the related database are complimentary to SPTO members and that non-members will pay a subscription fee.
