Weather Situation – With just a few days of July left to run it is looking like being a below average rainfall month this year and there is still no sign of rain on the horizon. A broad high pressure ridge lies over waters mid-way between Fiji and NZ which continues to direct a stable southeast trade wind flow over Fiji. There are no significant weather systems active in the tropics at this time. Temperatures and humidity remain comfortably low.
For Fiji – Fine and mostly sunny. Mild days and cool nights with moderate southeast trade winds fresh through the inter island passages. Local sea breezes about the larger islands this afternoon. Low to moderate seas on coastal waters.
Outlook – Fine dry and sunny throughout again this week with light to moderate trade winds and coastal sea breezes. No sign of any significant rain on the horizon.
