SUMMARY:Lautoka Foreshore Clean-up
DESCRIPTION:The Fiji Department of Environment has announced a joint effort with the Lautoka City Council to conduct a comprehensive clean-up at the Lautoka foreshore on Saturday\, March 11th\, 2023. This collaborative initiative aims to promote environmental consciousness and mobilize local tourism stakeholders to participate in the cleanup. \nThey invite all members of the community\, particularly tourism stakeholders in the area\, to join forces with them in this noble cause. By working together\, we can make a significant impact and pave the way for a cleaner and more sustainable future. \nThe clean-up is scheduled to commence at 8.30 am and will conclude at 10.30 am\, after which all participants will be treated to light refreshments. They anticipate a productive and fulfilling experience for everyone involved. \nIn case of any inquiries or clarifications\, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Kavnil Lal at kavnil.lal@govnet.gov.fj or 3311699.
