PADI ‘COVID-19 Risk Reduction in Diving – Best Practice’ webinars
21 May @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
The outbreak of COVID-19 has affected communities and businesses all over the world, especially those that are dependent on travel, and the dive industry has been no exception. As we are slowly starting to emerge from this crisis, PADI has taken steps to provide the diving industry and all dive professionals with recommendations that apply the expertise of DAN, CDC, WHO and other sources to diving, diver training and the dive industry.
Please join us for the ‘COVID-19 Risk Reduction in Diving – Best Practice‘ webinars on Thursday, 21st of May and Monday, 25th of May from 6pm to 7pm (AEST). These webinars will prepare you for the time when restrictions are eased in your local area, and diving activities resume with the best practices to reduce the risk of disease transmission.
During the first part of this webinar series, we will look at general diving consideration and provide some specific recommendations for dive stores, including classrooms, retail space and dive boats. You’ll also learn about the many resources available to you specific to COVID-19 issues.
During this second session, we will look at some specific skill considerations for scuba diving, freediving and first aid courses. We will examine skills that would usually require close contact and discuss how the performance requirements can be adapted to meet the skill objective.
There will be a short quiz that touches on key concepts as a quick check, and you will receive a certificate that you can display as proof of having attended these important updates.
All webinars allow individual PADI Members to obtain PADI training credits, and you will receive a certificate of completion after the webinars.
If you have any questions in regards to the above webinar, please contact us at email@example.com or call your Regional Training Consultant or Regional Manager directly.
With warmest regards,
