Sea Reel Productions is a family business born of an idea, that grew into a dream and became a reality very quickly once two dynamic women began working together.
Our small team of creative individuals work together to create beautiful publications that provide a wealth of information for both the local and overseas tourist looking to explore our beloved Fiji!
Our definitive guides of all things FIJI are a fusion of our local vista and international backgrounds; delivered in a fun and friendly fashion with beautiful imagery to help you navigate and get the very best from your trip to Fiji.
We like to help you get off the beaten track and make this wonderfully foreign land of ours seem less intimidating because, let’s face it, the cannibals are long gone and all that you will encounter is genuine warmth, openness and a great big dose of BULA!
Bringing together years of creative design and publishing, project management, writing and extensive travel around the islands, they found the perfect working partnership that satisfied a shared goal of promoting their beloved Fiji.
Andrée grew up in Fiji, first along the Coral Coast and later in Suva. She left Fiji for a 10 year stint and gained valuable experience working for a publishing company in New Zealand. Having spent 30 years designing publications for an array of wonderful clients, she dreamed producing her own publication; one that she could passionately nurture and contribute to in more aspects then one. As a well-respected and successful designer, finding time to do this of course was very difficult. But like everything else – nothing came without sacrifice, patience and confidence in knowing that she could create something that people would really enjoy reading. “It’s hard work and long hours, but all worth it when our readers take the time to tell you how much they appreciate the effort that has been put into each of our guides.”
Straight off the plane from London, Heidi arrived in rural Vanua Levu back in the early 2000’s where she lived in a bure on the beach for a few years working within the ‘voluntourism’ industry. She has since travelled and scuba dived around many of the outer islands researching Fiji and falling more and more in love with the country. She met her husband on a beach in rural Kubulau, Bua 9 years ago and together they are raising their family in Pacific Harbour. “I love to write and to share my knowledge of this amazing country I now call home from a tourist-now locals perspective.”
